The early years lay the foundation for so much of what comes later. When parents have the right education, guidance, and support from the very beginning, parenting can feel easier, children’s behavior can be better, and parent-child relationships can grow stronger in lasting ways.
In a world where information is overly abundant and personal support is often missing, parents do not just need more advice—they need trusted guidance, clear strategies, and real support tailored to their child, their family, and their needs. That is the heart of The Early Years Collective: giving parents education, guidance, and support when it is needed and matters the most.
Using the right approaches and strategies from the start can help prevent challenges before they grow, build healthy patterns early, and create a more peaceful, connected family life.
Support is offered in three core areas:
newborn and baby support
sleep consulting
parent coaching for young children.
Whether you are looking for help with routines, sleep, behavior, or simply understanding how to approach the early years with more confidence, the goal is the same: to help you feel informed, supported, and at ease in your role as a parent.
About me
Hi, I’m Lauren Russo.
I am the owner and founder of The Early Years Collective. I have spent more than 20 years working with children and families, and I bring both professional experience and personal understanding to the work I do.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, I’m a former early childhood teacher, and I’m a certified sleep consultant. My background includes extensive study in child development, child psychology, and positive parenting approaches, all of which shape the support I provide to families.
I am also a mother of twin boys, so I understand firsthand both the joy and the intensity of raising children. That lived experience, combined with my professional background, allows me to support parents with both knowledge and empathy. The early years are some of the hardest but they can also be the most rewarding if you have the right support and guidance.
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all parenting support. Every child is different, every family is different, and the best guidance is always thoughtful, flexible, and individualized.
My approach is tailored to each family’s specific needs, goals, and values. I believe the early years and the parent-child relationship are two of the most important influences on a child’s development, and I aim to support parents in strengthening both.
My work is informed by current research and evidence-based best practices in child development and parenting. It draws from trusted sources such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University, along with widely respected frameworks in child development and parenting, including positive parenting, connection-based approaches, and whole-brain child principles.
My goal is not to hand you a generic plan, but to help you better understand your child, feel more confident in your decisions, and create lasting changes that support your family as a whole.
